Demonstrations/Workshops

PGNJ Meetings often include demonstrations of pottery making techniques. We strive to share our knowledge and to expand the creativity of our members.  Join us to see what can be done in this exciting medium.

Videos of past demonstrations can be viewed on the Potters Guild of New Jersey YouTube channel by clicking here.  For more information please contact us!

Future Guild Meetings

Raku and Horsehair Firing with Peter!

Each year the guild meets at a member location for a full day of Raku and Horsehair firing.  Tips, tricks, and techniques are shared along with a potluck feast.  All members are welcome and encouraged to bring bisqueware for the firings. Come between 9 a.m. (to help set up, please!) and 4 p.m. You can come just to hang out even if you have nothing to raku fire. You can reach Peter by Email for questions, thoughts, registration and followup at psyak@aol.com
