My background as an artist has included a wide range of fine art, photography, sculpture, crafts and pottery.
I have always loved art and as a child was never without a crayon, pencil or paintbrush in hand. Through the years I attended various art schools.
My first exposure to pottery was in college while pursuing my art degree. I found myself developing a passion for the art as it encompassed all the media I had learned over the years.
I make functional and decorative pieces and my inspiration comes from nature, although at times I will use abstract designs. The process of creating my pieces and especially carving them is so rewarding. I love experimenting with forms and glazes and strive to make each a work of art.

I am also a member of The “Art Association in Roxbury”. I have participated in their shows and have won several awards on my pottery, sculpture and photography.
