Born and raised in Sweden I draw on the simplicity of Scandinavian design in my art. Colours are often muted and the shapes are simple. I am equally intrigued by hand-building and wheel-throwing and often combine the two. Inspiration comes from nature, texture, light, shadow, technology, architecture, and textiles. Working with clay is a continuous exploration and learning where the concept of time is a key ingredient.
